What an amazing First Thursday event we had at the Courtyard. Madison Boutiques huge reno reveal had everyone entranced. Madison’s lucky customers were spoilt with amazing goody boxes from their international designers as well as their very own Gin Boxes from theginbox.co.za, South Africa’s first online Gin subscription service.

Every month, they select one of the South Africa’s finest small-batch craft gins, often exclusive bottles not available elsewhere, and send it to their members, along with a range of handpicked, quality products that complement the showcased gin of the month along with the accompanying tasting notes from the distiller. Guests sipped the yummiest artisanal Gin cocktails from the cocktail bar provided by South Africa’s online Gin gurus, the Gin Box. This who chose not to gin and bear it enjoyed fabulous MCC bubbles from Groot Constantia. We were entertained with live music and a festive atmosphere with a great turn out. Melissa’s, under new management, pushed the boat out with a mouthwatering spread of gourmet canapés and a plethora of foodie delights at their groaning harvest table feast in store. Customers enjoyed big discounts on all Melissa’s premium homeware. Present Time and Toy Time got well into the spirit of things and discounted everything in store. Loads of clever customers enjoyed a great head start to their festive shopping.
